  • nancy.. I think it would be excellent to start a section on the houseoffoust.. for REACTOR FUEL CYCLE and let it cover around the world in different countries to show how each is handling it.. accepting more and more risks etc..
    by dean 5/23/2011 6:55:18 PM

  • @dean as in who has how many piles of spent fuel built up?

    by dean 5/23/2011 6:58:47 PM

  • Nancy.. .I think something like... GLOBAL REACTOR SPENT FUEL... then a short write up of the issue.. and then break down by country on what their policy is and the issues and challenges it poses

  • We used to sing the following to the tune of 'My old man's a dustman' Oh we're the nuclear dustmen, with all our nuclear waste, we don't know where to put it oh ain't it a disgrace, We've taken it to China, we even tried the Pole, we'll take it all to Sellafield & stick it down a hole'
    by UKVal 5/23/2011 7:02:17 PM

  • @dean thank you. If this is the situation, maybe this is the main task for this group. If the people in Egypt could achieve what they did via Facebook – this group can also try to put in the pressure. Very clever people here. And knowledge. Good idea about the spent fuel pool section.

  • @dean That would be great if you could get a chance to speak or even just talk to people there. Let us know if you need anyone to do additional research work or anything.

  • @LM daylight will wash out things that glow more in the dark. Hoping we find something that gives us a better answer throughout the day.

  • @Dean great idea, sounds exciting. that makes me glad. :)
    by Mona 5/23/2011 7:11:46 PM

  • @dean what your talking about with the spent fuel document, would be interesting to make an animated map to go with it. Something that shows all the spent fuel built up on a map in a graphic manner.
    by Nancy 5/23/2011 7:13:09 PM

  • @Nancy..True. I would love an answer too. On that note...I'll be back in a few...I need to get ready for my day. Better late than never I guess.

  • @great support Nancy. Bo has contact with RT - is it possible to make something and go on RT with it?
    by Mona 5/23/2011 7:15:02 PM

  • @Mona, I have a bit of experience with using social networking etc. to get information out in the manner you mentioned. I think once we get the website live we should start working on that. Get a plan and get people arranged who want to do parts of it.
    by Nancy 5/23/2011 7:15:15 PM

  • @Mona I think so. RT seems pretty eager to get a scoop on something. We need to make sure we have done our homework because if it ends up on RT it will likely go places fast.
