  • @hi Q: does anyone know who is behind French “criiad”? This doc says : “60 certified radionuclide stations fully equipped with high precision detectors that are set up around the world to monitor airborne radioactivity on a daily basis ... To date this is still impossible as the data are being confiscated by the States.” Like USA? Should USA sit on info collected in countries all over the world? Many coutries do put out readings daily
(like radiactividad.org , radnett.nrpa.no ) - so what are “CRIIAD” talking about? I am sceptic to info about radioation given by Japan and I register a sort of “withhold” in USA – but info from all the other countries can’t just be overlooked. I would really appreciate your wiews on this.

  • "I have drunk the water which has the taste like iron according to the physician who works at a university hospital in Metropolitan area, but I say that the patient who complains whether he's exposed to radiation is increasing rapidly recently... When blowing the nose, there were also a lot of impressions which had the smell which had a nosebleed, but it was the story of the personal experience which drank the water which has the taste like iron that it was most conspicuous. 87 percent of the person who did such experience developed the disease thought to depend on radiation exposure." translate.google.com

  • @Mona The US isn't supposed to be able to confiscate CTBTO data, all countries who are part of the test-ban treaty are supposed to have it. If this is true, it means this independent treaty organization is no longer independent of the US Government.

  • @Bobby1 Yes, they can theoretically filter. That's apparently the idea of tenting in the reactors. Tent and filter. But it'll be raining in the tent if it's still steaming like they are.

  • So, NISA and the Nuclear Safety Commission of Japan estimated ***ulative radiation levels at between 370,000 and 630,000 terabecquerels towards the end of April and said, "Using a median value of 500,000 terabecquerels, that would be nearly 10 percent of the total radiation of 5.2 million terabecquerels released by Chernobyl." americaisindanger.blogspot.com***ulative-radiation-from-japans.html

Has the total ***ulative radiation output been updated, especially in light of the recent helicopter overflight radiation level insights?

  • @Bobby Oliver Maureen thank you for info. But this CTBTO data which I understand was not official for public at date of Nature aticle 17th of Match – will this not show the same radiation for Eurpoe as the readings published already in all European countries..?

  • U.N. report cites 'synchronous failure' in March 11 disaster
    NEW YORK, May 25, Kyodo
A killer tsunami that hit coastal areas of northeastern Japan following a magnitude-9.0 earthquake on March 11 and the subsequent Fukushima nuclear reactor meltdowns revealed the fragility of Japan's infrastructure, according to a recent U.N. report on natural disasters.
The U.N. report described Japan as a country whose infrastructure collapsed in a way more closely associated with less developed countries and from which lessons can be drawn.
''The earthquake, its aftershocks, the tsunami and the nuclear emergency illustrate what a synchronous failure looks like: a multi-sectoral system's collapse,'' according to the 2011 Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction.
