    by Edano 5/31/2011 9:50:02 AM

by Edano edited by Edano 5/31/2011 9:50:28 AM

  • Thought for the morning, looking at the new TEPCO cam, notice the 2 towers on the right, compare them with the edges of the buildings of reactors 1 & 2. Notice that the 2 towers look like they are leaning to the right ?? Notice that the lamp pole next to the first right hand tower, is definitely leaning to the right.; All of these are next to Reactor #3, and I think that they might have been damaged from the explosion there ? Nite all !!!

  • ok - once more with avatar: reactor graphs here: houseoffoust.com they are now under "Fukushima Status" => "Daiichi Reactor Graphs".
    by Edano 5/31/2011 9:57:59 AM

  • @wtm looking at that maybe the buildings are not leaning as such it looks too uniform is it possiblel that there is a new fracture from the quake and the ground has actually lifted at an angle?
    by elainekirk 5/31/2011 9:58:31 AM

  • @elainekirk : sure elaine
    by Edano 5/31/2011 9:59:13 AM

  • the gas bottle explosion lifted them.
    by Edano 5/31/2011 10:00:12 AM

  • in which case the leaks of radiactive water and oil etc are going to be a major major problem
    by elainekirk 5/31/2011 10:00:32 AM

  • @elainekirk : i always said they do not lean.
by Edano edited by Edano 5/31/2011 10:01:21 AM

  • @edano I could only see it in #4 before but looking a tepco cam it is too uniform and not particular to any 1 building , it also explains them choosing that camera because it isnt imediately obvious to the casual obbserver , it hit me in the face when wtm pointed it out but prior to that it hadnt registered
    by elainekirk 5/31/2011 10:04:13 AM

  • @edano - I'm getting your plots clipped at the right hand side - anyone else?
    by hudebnik 5/31/2011 10:07:59 AM

  • @hudebnik : yes, it is still under construction. nancy wants to do it. meanwhile click right and show graphic.
    by Edano 5/31/2011 10:09:04 AM

  • @edano - don't have that option but works if I save it to my PC

  • Japan could face overseas lawsuits from nuclear crisis www.asahi.com "... Convention on Supplementary Compensation for Nuclear Damage (CSC), which was agreed to by the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Japan had been asked by the United States to join the CSC and has been considering the move.

However, because of a longheld myth in Japan that accidents would never occur at a nuclear plant and other considerations, no decision was made to sign the convention." [...] "Because Japan has not signed the convention, if any damage from water contaminated from the radiation leaking from the Fukushima plant were to arise in the fishing industry of another nation or if rubble from the tsunami after the Great East Japan Earthquake were to become contaminated with radiation and drift ashore at another nation, victims in those nations would be able to file lawsuits in their own nation."
