  • @Peter Melzer They should change the text to " HAD no additives and WAS 100% Natural"
    by Majj 6/4/2011 9:50:12 PM

  • @Majj , I am sure they meant the sparkling differently.
by Peter Melzer 6/4/2011 9:51:16 PM

  • @Peter Melzer LOL... I bet. Luckily they didn't say anything about it contributing to a nice healthy glow.

  • Hi, can anyone give me the link to the site with both live cams on. I lost mine to the computer gremlins
    by cat 6/4/2011 10:25:25 PM

  • Question for Darren: i followed the link in your earlier post @Lethbridgean Other stuff from Jack Shannon (read the thread and others like it) www.animatedsoftware.com
by Darren at 12:54 PM interesting read, but what really intrigued me was the site i found after clicking on the header in your link www.animatedsoftware.com WOW!!! interesting info, is this a regular read for you?
    by Tenzing 6/4/2011 10:29:18 PM

  • houseoffoust.com
    @elainekirk @cat @all
Here... I made us a page on the SimplyInfo blog with both cams on one page.
    by radioguy 6/4/2011 10:31:34 PM

  • @Tenzing Should I do the same (embed the videos) for the Jack Shannon stuff, or leave them as simple YouTube links on the blog. They're under The Library/Media category, though anything in there posts straight The Library too.
    by radioguy 6/4/2011 10:34:33 PM

  • @radioguy thank you am always losing mine
    by fitter 6/4/2011 10:35:41 PM

  • @radioguy thank you
    by elainekirk 6/4/2011 10:36:35 PM

  • @radioguy i think its a good idea preserve those videos, so i'd prefer them embed on the blog.
    by Tenzing 6/4/2011 10:39:27 PM

  • yw... btw, blog Authors, the inline embed code works in WordPress, but you have to put enter it in HTML mode, and if you then switch back to visual, it will eat it, si get any text formatting done in Visual before you enter HTML to add the inline code.
    by radioguy 6/4/2011 10:40:24 PM

  • Otherwise you end up with all your text and none of the embeds.
    by radioguy 6/4/2011 10:41:01 PM

  • @Tenzing We should have those videos stored somewhere, but I wonder if the blog is the place, or whether we should drop them on the poudre server and draw them into the blog from there?
    by radioguy 6/4/2011 10:43:04 PM

  • @radioguy The TEPCO 'feed' you've embedded on the SimplyInfo blog isn't the live one - it's a recording.
    by es 6/4/2011 10:43:46 PM

  • @es Yes, so I'm embedding that one in a page.
    by radioguy 6/4/2011 11:03:02 PM

  • www.tepco.co.jp Teppy cam youtu.be TBS cam
    by Lethbridgean 6/4/2011 11:03:22 PM

  • @radioguy okay, i have no idea what a poudre server is and i don't have time to googled it so you do what you think is best with the video. i'm curious who knows the origin of the Salt used in your home, or restaurant for that matter? gotta run i'm sooooo late
    by Tenzing 6/4/2011 11:05:59 PM

  • On behalf of requests from the other board I am reposting images of a stack that may or may not belong to the hardened vent system of units 2, 3 and 4. It is situated on the NW corner of the reactor building: i1214.photobucket.com

  • by Peter Melzer via I1214.photobucket 6/4/2011 11:21:14 PM

  • And finally a schematic of the hardened vent system: www.beyondnuclear.org

by Peter Melzer via Beyondnuclear.org 6/4/2011 11:22:07 PM

  • @radio guy and es. I had a link posted a couple of weeks ago that showed The new Tep cam and the old TBS cam side by side. I thought they were both live. but I can't find the link.
    by cat 6/4/2011 11:23:23 PM

  • We are looking to ascertain whether stack on the photographs corresponds to the one in the schematic. Some suspected the photographs show the exhaust pipe for the emergency diesels. However, I recall that those exhaust pipes were mounted on the generator house and ended in flaps (more like on a truck). If anyone could locate that photograph of the diesel house would be great!
by Peter Melzer 6/4/2011 11:27:17 PM

  • @cat If it's link I'm thinking of, that was a specific recording @deb did showing the cam views side-by-side.
    by es 6/4/2011 11:29:00 PM

  • @cat, OK... try this one now I put it under the Fukushima Status menu header, because it's our quickest status check. :)

  • @es When I see Nancy on I'll have her move it to a page on the site like the Daiichi Readings pages so theye can have a wider frame.
    by radioguy 6/4/2011 11:38:24 PM

  • Laughing... hard to type with a puppy tugging on your sleeve.
    by radioguy 6/4/2011 11:39:09 PM

  • @radio guy. TY. Do you have the link to the site where they are embedded side by side. I've only got a little screen
    by cat 6/4/2011 11:42:06 PM

  • Hi all. Spent a little while trying to catch up. I see reactors are still there, water levels (too much /too little) are causing concern & the smoke (or is it dust?) is back in the foreground of the TEPCO pic. So nothing new then?

@peter is this the pipe you mean

    by elainekirk via Tepco.co.jp 6/4/2011 11:47:19 PM

  • Wheres the story on #1 only being at 1 atm? I see the high rad story, but that is all.
    by Markfm 6/4/2011 11:55:06 PM

  • Sounds like those high dw cams readings may be real, something punched through.
    by Markfm 6/4/2011 11:57:00 PM

  • anyone able to say if that's smoke or dust blowing in the foreground of the TEPCO cam pic?
    by UKVal 6/4/2011 11:59:10 PM

  • Val, 4 sv/hr measured in the air in #1. Seal around a pipe was leaking steam.
    by Markfm 6/4/2011 11:59:45 PM

  • @Markfm ty for the update. Any idea where the leaking pipe is located in #1?
    by UKVal 6/5/2011 12:00:47 AM

  • @elainekirk , I don't know. Of the pipes lying on the ground between unit 1 and 2, one seems too big and may have been the connection to the tower. The other could be the type we are looking for, but would not be on the NW corner. Thanks, :) Peter
Peter I am going through vids as soon as I find one I will post it
