  • @elainekirk what you want to know ?
    by xxx 6/4/2011 11:52:56 AM

  • @xxx hi. Do you have a link to new pressure guage on #1 and new reading? TY
    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 11:54:02 AM

  • yes
    by xxx 6/4/2011 11:54:32 AM

  • first here is photo, I read tada from this and computed: www.tepco.co.jp

    by xxx via Tepco.co.jp 6/4/2011 11:55:11 AM

  • @xxx I think Elaine has gone out for a while........I think it was about @dt question just below, but @rbeaner has answered I think. @elaine has also dug up links for the water level stuff, it is down the page.
    by Angie 6/4/2011 11:55:35 AM

  • and here is tepco data table with new pressure for unit 1
    by xxx 6/4/2011 11:56:04 AM

  • by xxx 6/4/2011 11:56:05 AM

  • there is funny thing, if you look on this instruments you will see that they are in scale which indicate that tepco know that unit 1 is at atmospheric pressure, but they give us until today wrong data
    by xxx 6/4/2011 11:57:50 AM

  • @xxx I'm looking at the data plot www.houseoffoust.com for 6/4 5AM and it is showing no change in water level. The 1100 AM should be out soon. we'll see. good catch. Unfortunately the Japonese doesn't translate well so I have no idea what their data pdf says.
    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 12:25:11 PM

  • @RBeaner : just updated ;)

    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 1:18:00 PM

  • @RBeaner I will have a look
    by Angie 6/4/2011 1:18:40 PM

  • ummmm ok some how the event has been closed............ not sure whats going on............I will investigate.......
    by Angie 6/4/2011 1:19:58 PM

  • @Angie It seems to be posting oldest first (top) instead of newest. Latest post showed 6:13 EST
    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 1:20:21 PM

  • yep thats what happens when the event has been shut. Either it was shut with the button or maybe something is wrong with scrb.........going to look.
    by Angie 6/4/2011 1:21:29 PM

  • @Edano have you looked at the last couple of hours of posts from XXX regarding #1 pressure and water level dropping rapidly? What do you think?
    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 1:22:03 PM

  • Can you have a look again I think I have fixed it.
    by Angie 6/4/2011 1:22:27 PM

  • @RBeaner : i cannot see dropping pressure and water levels in #1.
    by Edano 6/4/2011 1:24:12 PM

  • @Angie looks right now. Good job! Couple of days ago someone, non mod, got a mod board view for a minute and there was talk of ending event. LOL I guess I know what it means now. Hard to believe no posts there since 3 hrs ago though.
    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 1:24:54 PM

  • @Edano xxx conversation started 4 hrs ago, but references Japonese, so I can't make it out. I also see no drop based on the data plot. Do you look at japonese pdf for hard data? Did a column swap happen maybe?
    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 1:26:45 PM

  • @RBeaner well I have no idea how it got closed .......I have just had this page up as I was watching movies with the family. Thank you for letting me know!!! I wouldnt have known other wise!
    by Angie 6/4/2011 1:27:14 PM

  • @RBeaner : i use these data sheets: www.tepco.co.jp there is nothing wrong
    by Edano 6/4/2011 1:28:26 PM

  • @Edano Thats all Chineese to me LOL but I don't see any drastic changes.
    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 1:30:36 PM

  • from time to time they change the format and switch the columns, but i am up to date so far.
    by Edano 6/4/2011 1:30:57 PM

  • @Edano Elaine went digging and found a heap of links on the water I think. Did you see that post?
    by Angie 6/4/2011 1:40:29 PM

  • @Angie : yes. it is obvious that the water problem is severe and - as far as i can judge - unsolvable. i think nearly everyting will leak out in the next years.
    by Edano 6/4/2011 1:42:55 PM

  • @Edano I agree, I am not a techi but I think it is clear that there are major problems that are not very fixable! Ok back to my movie now lol I will still be checking here so any more problems just yell!
    by Angie 6/4/2011 1:46:12 PM

  • @Edano Can you look again at the data on the csv link you just posted - I've only glanced but in particular the second reading listed for the 11.00 entry on 6/4 does appear significantly lower than earlier entries. This is what xxx was referring to I think. The next measurement seems to be a null entry.

  • High radiation in unit #1 from evaporation of contaminated water: "It's thought the high concentration pollution water which leaked from primary containment vessel evaporates, and to come from the 1st floor of underground along a gap (gap). The high radiation dose I notify the sievert of 4000 millimeters per hour was also measured in the neighborhood." headlines.yahoo.co.jp

  • @carabnr Good morning. How did your interview go?
    by es 6/4/2011 2:03:33 PM

  • Detection of radioactive materials in the soil in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (4 June, 2011): www.tepco.co.jp
"As a result of plutonium analyses in the soil from the sample at the 3
periodic sampling spots collected on May 15th, 19th, and 23rd, plutonium
238, 239, and 240 were detected as shown in the attachment 1.
In addition, as a result of nuclide analysis of the gamma ray contained in
the soil, radioactive materials were detected as shown in the attachment 2."

  • @all If I'm not mistaken..the increasing concentrations of tellurium 129 along with iodine 131 (as shown in that Tepco doc) imply re-criticality. Perhaps the ridiculously high radiation in 1 is evidence that the re-criticality is in that unit?
    by LM 6/4/2011 2:21:59 PM

  • @LM Gundersen thinks the re-criticality is in #3... there is evidence that it could be in any or all of the reactors and SFP's.
    by Bobby1 6/4/2011 2:28:31 PM

  • @Bobby1 True.. Just wondering about the really high rads in 1....a world of trouble in all 4!
    by LM 6/4/2011 2:30:22 PM

  • @LM I was thinking it was #1 also, but then there was iodine under #2. They're all probably doing it at various times and amounts.
    by Bobby1 6/4/2011 2:32:05 PM

  • @Bobby1 I think you're right.
