Yup it is clearing and that is steam blocking the dung coloured spray paint on #1 so they have the doors open how much radiation have they poured into the atmosphere now?

Unbelievable instructions from NISA to Tepco start
" (June 10, 2011 NISA No.1)
On June 10, 2011, Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (hereinafter
called "NISA") received a report from your good self that, since the
2011 Tohoku-Chihou-Taiheiyo-Oki Earthquake occurred, two employees
engaged in radiation work at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station...."

@panser so many ways to help :)
by elainekirk 6/11/2011 12:08:13 AM

@panser there should be no need for reason to shut all these old reactors down NOW other than the reason that these children cannot ever be exposed to radiation again, nor their children because if they are we risk triggering a genetic disaster
by elainekirk 6/11/2011 12:18:25 AM

@panser more than disgusting they are taking possibly heavily contaminated goods out of the area in what will be contaminated vehicles and they themselves will be contaminated
by elainekirk 6/11/2011 12:25:25 AM

@jt oh look what they slipped into that report !! bury the bad news eh??
**TEPCO also said its test of the tainted water treatment system at the Fukushima plant was suspended on the first day because of water leaks from the installation supplied by Kurion Inc of the United States to absorb cesium and other radioactive materials***

Deb took the words right out of my mouth... "With that said, hopefully the thieves, will be caught or get radiation poisoning from handling all those "hot" items. "

@pj Your probably thinking of the SL-1 accident. Very interesting accident as far as what happened, horrible for the guys involved though.

@pj stuck control rod that then moved too fast when they got it loose. IIRC they were moving the control rod with a rope!
