  • On the TEPCO live cam has there always been that piece of debris right in front of the railing by the stairs? I saw hoses run across there before but don't remember that chunk of metal or whatever it is there?

  • @lillymunster If corium in 3 reached a source of groundwater could that cause a big steam event in all 3? I wonder....
    by LM 6/10/2011 8:04:24 PM

  • @LM What those that were watching are saying and what people saw on the other big steam event via the TBS cam sounds almost identical.
    by lillymunster 6/10/2011 8:04:34 PM

  • @LM This is what people were wondering on some of the other steam events if corium was hitting water. Water could be in the drywell, the suppression chamber. There is the possibility of hitting ground water if it found a place to burn through.

  • You remember in the beginning we all signed up for certain areas of responsibility. I signed up for biological, even though that part to me is the most horrific. I can barely stand to think about atrocities to humanity. But I decided to do it because I have a medical background and am interested in wildlife biology.

  • I don't have video but I have a script running which every 15 mins captures three screenshots approx ten seconds apart from the TEPCO steam. It gives a basic idea. I was out so missed the live action but here are some stills from earlier.

  • @mod prehaps only deleting profanity until 24 hrs would be appropriate. Let some crap lie for 24 hours before it is deleted. Our friends, some of which have a strong conspiracy bias, are getting antsy. I would like to retain their opinions and ideas without prejudice. They have provided good info outside the mainstream. Maybe the Mods should have a discussion, I want more people, of every background, rather than less.

    by lillymunster 6/10/2011 8:10:02 PM

  • Ty es. If anyone have a 4:00 AM pic of TEPCO Stillcam you can see there wasn't any fog at Daiichi.
    by estacion 6/10/2011 8:10:46 PM

  • @lillymunster 30 mins between each - the time is on the shot, top right
    by es 6/10/2011 8:11:01 PM

  • @lillymunster It went on for a long while and as the fog or whatever is shifting now I think it still is...
    by LM 6/10/2011 8:12:09 PM

  • @LM I see movement down by 3 but can't tell yet what it is.
    by lillymunster 6/10/2011 8:14:56 PM

  • @es you captured the 'jet' I have been rambling about thanky :)

    by LM 6/10/2011 8:17:10 PM

  • Is it just me or does it look like there could be fires at 3 and 4?
    by LM 6/10/2011 8:19:07 PM

  • Critter is back
    by lillymunster 6/10/2011 8:20:21 PM

  • I wonder if Rads can actually be seen on digital video. I don't see fire.
    by carabnr 6/10/2011 8:20:25 PM

  • @carabnr It could just be steam flashes..I've been staring at my screen too long!! Something just doesn't feel right...
    by LM 6/10/2011 8:21:23 PM

  • @Beamer I agree with your post... thanks

  • Hi ive been following this discussion since day0 youre doing a really great job crowdsourcing! ive seen the event 2 Hours ago aswell and it definately looked scary - steam/smoke going towards southwest (direction stillcam?!), after watching the last stillcam picture i suspect seeing a plume (i sure could be wrong) therefore playing a little with contrast color and gamma levels on that picture. It could be a plume blowing towards the stillcam?! orig: www.abload.de edited: www.abload.de

  • @Dude That is really odd how there is so much fog or steam in a ball but the sun is intense over it.
    by lillymunster 6/10/2011 8:29:52 PM

  • thats what i thought aswell

  • @all Thanks Dude...... Regarding the water treatment, an area I am very familiar with, but not even 1/100 of these levels, This is a UNIQUE water processing system, never been tried before. I give them credit for trying it, even if it doesn't worik well. No other plant or facility has dealt with these contamination levels, that I know of, especialliy with Chlorides (salt water).
