3 seems to be churning hard but can't see well due to the angle. You can see if you look where it meets the clouds.

OMG 4 has the steam column and huge plumes going out sideways. Never seen this before.

@Pedro Jesus he seems to profit well off of the poltical things he can influence.

his book seems to have flopped though

either the cloud ceiling is getting lower or the steam/smoke is filling things in.

@Pedro Jesus let me know if you need anything. I noticed that this morning a CIA chief and a Greenpeace principal. Must be some interesting board meetings.

@Edano That is really typical private sector in the US. Our private sector acts like their own country sometimes. There is a reason they call Washington DC the swamp. ;-)
by lillymunster 6/13/2011 5:57:42 PM

This is really weird there is a steam column and also the smoke/steam going sideways has force behind it.
by lillymunster 6/13/2011 5:59:26 PM

@Edano Huh? :-)
by lillymunster 6/13/2011 5:59:34 PM

@LM I know it dumps lots into the air. Not sure if it puts fission products into the air, probably depends on if it is burn or reactions too.

@WolfDK The sideways steam goes at about a 45degree angle or more and doesn't seem to hit a layer of air. Really odd to see it go off at an angle yet a hard straight up column at the same time. I looked on the TBS cam and only get a faint outline of the cloud above.
by lillymunster 6/13/2011 6:03:04 PM

@LM I saw what looked like light changes down low by the ground, like something went in front of the flood lights. So there is likely crew doing something.
by lillymunster 6/13/2011 6:05:02 PM

@WolfDK what support structure....
by lillymunster 6/13/2011 6:05:21 PM

seeing lots of light flashes down at the lower levels like truck lights

@Edano I think it is a bit more than cooling steam. The NPP we used to live by would do some pretty epic steam releases when the hot water would hit the river. This is churning too hard for just cooling. Either they let it get way too hot and low on water before trying to water it or something went wonky and they have a problem.
