@Edano Yamashita is that stupid and he is in charge. He was trying to tell people how great lower exposures were and the 100msv. He is getting sued by some people for his earlier comments because they were so false and dangerous. I don't know who appointed him to this program and to the university but I think it is part of the whole cover up and denial program. He seems to be a total lapdog to the nuke industry and his views are convenient to them

@Edano the studies on people downwind of hanford were reconstructed by a similar method of filling out surveys of activities. But they did they like 40-60 years after the fact. The Hanford study was to see who could sue for damages, not to save anyone's life or get them timely medical care. His study seems totally based off the after the fact hanford model

i feel big respect for any science and research, but this is so disappointing. how can he be a professor ? i really feel like crying, it is emberassing. scientists have a reputation and they should research for the benefit of mankind, or they are simply redundant.

Yamashita is an authority on the subject with lengthy experience caring for patients suffering from radiation exposure from the atomic bombs and Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster.

Fukushima Prefecture on March 19 named Yamashita as an adviser on health-risk management from nuclear radiation.

@Edano luckily most are doing the right thing. Yamashita is getting sued but I can't find a story link about it. Journalist and some pretty well known or high ranking people are suing this guy for what he is doing and the blatant lies
