@ElaineKirk It's a mess. NHK showed a documentary tonight that said JP rad standards are middle among EU & US. Many Ty on both sides.rockhopper has dm'ed me saying she has big problem in that the no nukes camp is getting more emotional and the other side are not being scientific and there needs to be a focus on radiation AND stress not radiation OR stress . She invited me to share .

well I havent seen but that doc this morning may have clues.
I believe it is food but having not seen the disclaimer that tepco attatch to their ND on food sites I am being very careful till I find it in black and white

@elainekirk If ND is becoming the "below legal limit" or something like that, that is a huge problem. People have the right to know data, exact levels and make decisions for themselves. Let me know what you find out as this evolves.

@elainekirk I still don't understand TVA's sudden interest in resurrecting Bellafonte from the dead right after Fuku. Seems like a horrible time to build a NPP with companies pulling out of the industry or losing money.

* One of the staff from the cooperating companies was injured catching his
forth finger between the steel stocks in site of the power plant
(outdoors) at 11:05 am, September 26. The staff returned to the office
outside the site and headed for the emergency medical office with a
surgical mask on. We are planning to conduct a measurement with a whole
body counter, because the possibility of radioactive materials intake
cannot be denied. Contamination on the surface of the body and the

At 3:05 pm on September 26, the amount of water injection from the core
spray system into the reactor was adjusted from approx. 5.0 m3/h to
approx. 6.0 m3/h.
Water is currently injected at approx. 4.0 m3/h through reactor feed
water system piping arrangement, and at approx. 6.0 m3/h through core
spray system water injection piping arrangement.

@RadioGuy cool. I hadn't noticed comments piling up. Will have to go see what sort of bees nest that stirred up. I have noticed Thorium has a bit of a political slant to it in the US. It is being fed to the unwashed masses via some political/corporate lobby groups as the solution. So you get lots of people who read an article and consider themselves experts.
