@john what image number did you find the boulder on the pipes in. I can get some close up tweaked images of it to get a better idea where it might have come from in #3

Dont like unit 4 thermal images, once again there is something in core which is 32C, but SFP is only 27C....

@Nancy I think your talking about the close up I posted and I don't think the log slab is a pies of #3's wall, It appears to be metal and notice the hole in the lower end, it looks like it was once articulated with something, IMHO

It looks like hot rods from various thermals I have seen over the weeks. I have a couple of angle shots on that side of 4 but that exact area is obscured.

@tenzig, it is a slab of 3. You can see it in the initial stills of the explosion. You can also see that is it concrete with the blue cloud paint on the back in certain images. I just haven't posted them yet. Still being worked on, hopefully when I get back tonight.

Yes, look at the corresponding hotspot on R3... which is still just SMOKIN' along.

It is exactly in core, look on some old #3 thermal images and compare core location...

#3 has some sort of containment cap still there. the heat spreads out around the well on 3 because it is pushing steam and heat outwards.

One way or another, the scattered hotspots exterior to the containments is ugly.

John your wrong the containment IS in the mostly center of the building on 3 and 4.

There was some confusion from that old blueprint posted. 2 and 1 have slightly different construction and 1 has an offset containment well that 3 and 4 do not

@Nancy I'm just looking for what it is. And I can see from that top shot why you say outer building. I see the cloud pattern too. That's better anyway, because I was wondering how the corner post of R4 could have taken a hit with force enough to eject a slab of containment out there.

Nancy something that would help with these discussions ,,,,, if possible to note on some of the pics... plant north, west etc..... like #3 bld is looking at the hole in wall is the "south side of buildind,,, #4 its the north side, also some markings in columm lines ..... it makes following conversation easer and this is a tough format to compare drawings...... Looks like plant north is #1 building with the ocean being the East

#1 in that blueprint has the well offset to one side and #1 reactor has a smaller aboveground building that shows this. The newer reactors are more centred. It threw everyone off even more because madrat thought the stored containment cap on #4 was the well.

@Nancy, I'm not sure what your alluding to concerning changing my tune but I'm a bit fed up with the censorship that grows daily around here. It seems some of us have declared ourselves experts and disregard the potential value of other perspectives. Large egos occupy substantial space around here these days. John that is a reactor 1 blueprint NOT the design of 3 and 4. I will have reactor 4 images with markup done tonight. I was just checking a few things before I shut down my laptop. John go look at the size of the buildings on 1-4 you will see what we all already figured out.

@tenzig, just saying that sometimes we can post photographic proof and someone will still be running on an old guess and it is causing confusion. If I get the images of 4 done tonight and they show something different will you rethink your stance was all I said

@John LOL that is NOT a reactor well. That square object they have circled is an equipment pool.

I will be back tonight. Should have those #4 images done for everyone to look at. If anyone thinks of more zoom shots they want done of areas let me know when I get back I can try to get more images posted.
