I have been wanting to bring Chuba.co Hamoara up all day they have 2 toshi reactors one split/burst pipes in '02 they decided to replace parts on the other to be safe. In '06 government decided to tighten quake rules for plants and asked them all to do proper geological seismology surveys etc (no evidence yet that tepco ever fully complied. hamoara did them during this time the '07 quake struck causing the accident at tepco's K...plant . Anyways after quake although report gave them all clear to srart up again (they had automatically shut in quake) the locals went to court to get decision to let them start 1+2 up overturned -the people lost the courts said restart but chuba never restarted them they said the work neded to make them safe was too much and as they had #7 under construction 1 + 2 would be decommissioned .
www.chuden.co.jp I find that strange they decommission theirs as tepco load theirs with mox and why did they feel that to just comply with government standards wasnt enough

Yoimuri Online (translated through Chrome/google translate) The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Unit 4 TEPCO continues to grow, including radioactive water contamination revealed that it rose about 20 cm in 10 days, the level of the turbine building. Well depth of about five meters underground reactor, and revealed to the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry that the 4000 tons of water contaminated water has accumulated, new challenges have emerged as the action.
TEPCO has working to move waste disposal concentrate contaminated water high levels of Unit 2, the amount of capacity of the facility is expected to be about half the initial prospect of water treatment pollution of the No. others stand not.
According to TEPCO, the No. 4 turbine building basement depth is 0.9 m to 13, 1.1 m at 6 pm on October 22. Rose to about 20 cm to 10 days. In the adjacent Unit 3 reactor per hour for irrigation has been 6.8 tons. TEPCO water leaking from the furnace, which sees three or four leaks or cracks in the wall separating the Unit 4 turbine building of the Unit.

Another Yoimuri through google translate: TEPCO press conference on April 22, at the bottom of the chamber pressure suppression containment Fukushima Daiichi Unit 1 nuclear power plant, said it was believed to have been nearly filled with water.
Also called a dry well the top half, is expected to have a lot of water, fill with water completely flooded the containment of fuel to the "coffin" water will be virtually ongoing process.
Pressure suppression chamber is typically contain about 50 percent of the water and become very high pressure inside the pressure vessel, steam led internally through the valve, cooling water, lowering the pressure of the agglomerated whole. Unit 1 pressure vessel, water has been injected into about 7,000 tons so far, TEPCO, almost all of this water, which is expected to remain within the containment.
Unit 2 and 3 containment capacity (about 7000 tons) more than 14,000 tons, and tons of water injection is 9600, and by the pollution damage in the containment pressure suppression chamber, and flows into the turbine building it is likely.

@hudebnik that man is beyond dangerous ! how many different forms of radiation are escaping from Fukushima? tomoro's report from the publicity seeking doc will no doubt tell us plutonium is safe
