well...I have some research into the intial events after the earthquake and want to finish putting together the information, along with emergency action procedures and plant recovery procedures for recover from a scram, going to cold shutdown from a scram, actions in the event of the seismic trips, and then some observations on the whole mess. This will include what was lost at the EQ, best identifed systems that were lost or did not function due to the loss of power from the EQ, then the actions from the TSUNAMI..

nancy was working on this as of this morning. we want to have the best idea for the first hours as we can, specifically what happened in the plant from the seismic scram until the tsunami and the resultant fuel melt etc.

RBeaner the first source listed about the bed rock was from a quote made by Nan and I don't think he's demonstrated any credibility to know anything about reactors not to mention bedrock,, the second source was on a paper which was considering the #6 plant and I didn't see bedrock mentioned

fantastic Nancy,, I'd like to work with you and feed you the information I have as well,,, and I must say that I'm going to try to look at the input made by RBeaner who has had some good points... I want us to all be in agreement the best we can
