  • @radioguy It's ok. That's where the chart below came from.
    by Jim 5/9/2011 9:46:39 PM

  • @dean the radio had the surry NPP on today, did not mention if the unit was up, but apperently they had an asbestos exposure due to repair work at the substaion
    by fitter 5/9/2011 9:48:11 PM

  • ok nancy.... @ fitter asbestos wow.. reportable to NRC for sure
    by dean 5/9/2011 9:49:02 PM

  • @radioguy , I see your point. But earthquakes beyond plant parameters may happen again at a number of locations, whereas fewer will have an additional tsunami to content with. To me, the issue represents a distinction fundamental to the claims of safety and preparedness elsewhere in the world.
by Peter Melzer 5/9/2011 9:50:38 PM

  • @elainekirk It looks like it is in stripes (the green mystery substance) but it doesn't look like normal paint markings on the concrete. Very neat ectoplasmic goo? Someone call the Ghostbusters. :-)
    by Nancy 5/9/2011 9:50:44 PM

  • RBeaner agree on the second source but that was under #6 wasn't it? and I discredit the first one because nan isn't an expert.. he probably heard it somewhere and agree on the building of the tank thing
    by dean 5/9/2011 9:50:53 PM

  • will return alittle later... ty all excellent dialogue
    by dean 5/9/2011 9:51:32 PM

  • @Nancy Actually, i believe those or phospherous tiles that shine during blackout in emergency light ?
by Veen Oui 5/9/2011 9:52:00 PM

  • @dean Yeah, that one is about #6, in my earlier post.
    by Jim 5/9/2011 9:52:04 PM

  • @dean forgot to mention great looking info you just posted.... asbestoes.... in Virginia it is one of the few exposures a company must retain for life... also big write up in the paper saturday about all the fussing the locals were doing at the CIA base recently, ok probably related to Binlodn
    by fitter 5/9/2011 9:52:04 PM

  • dang fitter.. you have all the news .. CIA and all
    by dean 5/9/2011 9:52:44 PM

  • @dean they did not practice with the stelth coppers
    by fitter 5/9/2011 9:53:14 PM

  • @Veen Oui Tim Alien was there? Did he Fix anything??
    by RBeaner 5/9/2011 9:54:17 PM

  • @radioguy How's that forum coming?
    by Jim 5/9/2011 9:56:43 PM

  • @dean Kyodo news used to have it english.kyodonews.jp now just a summary, who is Nan?
    by RBeaner 5/9/2011 10:05:29 PM

  • @Peter Melzer Agreed. It irds me seeing TEPCO hiding behind the "But our plants ARE safe. If it wasn't for the tsunami... I mean, who could have expected blah blah blah."
    by radioguy 5/9/2011 10:09:21 PM

  • @Jim We're locked out till George comes back. Password got messed up. We have the basic idea down though, and the theme is pretty straightforward, so it should be pretty quick (but for the endless dinking and tweaking).
    by radioguy 5/9/2011 10:11:05 PM

  • The message is that there are known "knowns." There are things we know that we know. Here's where we are, "There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we do not know we don't know"
    by RBeaner 5/9/2011 10:12:48 PM

  • @radioguy I misread that is endless drinking and tweaking. :-)
    by Nancy 5/9/2011 10:18:18 PM

  • @Nancy Heh... I hope it's easier than that. ;)
    by radioguy 5/9/2011 10:22:14 PM

  • @all. If anyone hears from George please let Radioguy or me know?
    by Nancy 5/9/2011 10:24:28 PM

  • @Nancy if I hear from George I will be shouting it from the roof tops
    by elainekirk 5/9/2011 10:28:35 PM

  • @Nancy the one you are planning to use? is it part of scribl?
    by elainekirk 5/9/2011 10:34:42 PM

  • @elainekirk oh. The plan was to use George's web space and install a version of Wordpress to manage the website for the group.
    by Nancy 5/9/2011 10:38:49 PM

  • @elainekirk he has server space that is separate from the Scribble accounts
Ahhh we are gonna have to start a George hunt

    by elainekirk 5/9/2011 10:51:47 PM
