  • @xxx congratulations !!
    by elainekirk 6/4/2011 10:07:55 AM

  • @elainekirk G'night Elaine. It's time for some rest here. Enjoy your day. :)
    by Reed 6/4/2011 10:10:39 AM

  • what a crap, all nitrogen which they injected go out to atmosphere
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:11:12 AM

  • unit 1 sfp only 1 m of water now, if they dont inject water fuel will be exposed tomorrow
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:13:28 AM

  • How much fuel that hasnt melted is left in #1 @xxx
    by elainekirk 6/4/2011 10:16:11 AM

  • @reed g'night
    by elainekirk 6/4/2011 10:16:40 AM

  • Had a family day today being Saturday. Have I missed any major developments. I have been off the grid for 24 hours. All reactors still standing?!!!
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:19:28 AM

  • @elainekirk in core 0, but sfp was good, "was"
    thankyou xxx
by xxx edited by elainekirk 6/4/2011 10:19:46 AM

  • @AustralianCannonball after installing new pressure indicators tepco discover that unit 1 is at atmospheric pressure, and all nitrogen go out
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:20:35 AM

  • @xxx If fuel does get exposed and I assume its molten corium it shouldn't be to bad would it?.
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:22:44 AM

  • it would
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:23:10 AM

  • @xxx I work in IT. What would actually happen. At least the theory?. Has TEPCO alerted the public?.
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:24:03 AM

  • @xxx my channel with 11 videos: www.youtube.com
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:24:32 AM

  • they think until today that unit 1 keep pressure, and they were injecting nitrogene to prevent hydrogen explosion, but now we know that there is atmospheric pressure in RPV, so if corium would be exposed nothing would stop radiation like in chernobyl
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:25:01 AM

  • also i think that last earthquake (5,6) damaged unit 1 sfp
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:25:44 AM

  • and now water level is decreasing very fast
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:26:08 AM

  • @xxx I have hit a brick wall with some of my theories. I use this site to help me with my videos. Some Cesium 137 deposition already exceeds Chernobyl. But I would not want to see another explosion.
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:26:39 AM

  • 250mm/6h so at 11:00 am japan time there was 1m so after 24 h there will be 0m
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:27:04 AM

  • @xxx jen.jiji.com Strong Quake Hits Fukushima Prefecture " The quake caused no additional damage to Tokyo Electric Power Co.'s <9501> Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant, according to the government's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency. The firm's Fukushima No. 2 nuclear plant also had no damage, the agency said." They claim!!!
    by jt 6/4/2011 10:27:15 AM

  • TEPCO are cunning sly dogs.
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:28:11 AM

  • I stop short of swearing.
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:28:37 AM

  • @xxx Surely they will inject more water?.
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:30:21 AM

  • 6/3 11:00am 1950mm, 6/4 05:00am 1250mm, 6/4 11:00 am 1000mm, so at 6/5 05:00 am it will be near 0mm
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:30:46 AM

  • @AustralianCannonball something was wrong, water level wasnt so low never in unit 1 sfp
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:31:14 AM

  • 6/2 12:00am it was 2750mm something was wrong after 5,6 earthquake
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:32:38 AM

  • @xxx So thats 6am my time Sunday. They put nothing on the news here in Australia. Sounds like it will hit 0mm if caused by quake. When was quake. Last 24 hours?.
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:33:27 AM

  • Tokyo, June 4 (Jiji Press)--A strong earthquake jolted the northeastern Japan prefecture of Fukushima at around 1 a.m. Saturday (4 p.m. Friday GMT), the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
The tremor had an estimated magnitude of 5.6 on the open-ended Richter scale, the agency said. The quake measured lower 5 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale of 7 in the city of Iwaki in the prefecture, it said.
    by jt 6/4/2011 10:34:00 AM

  • they wouldnt allowe it to drop to 1m, it was between 3,5m and 2,5 always
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:35:09 AM

  • @xxx Obviously I am concerned for Japan. Would this possible event affect Australia or USA besides trace amounts of radiation(Not that I think that is safe).
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:36:32 AM

  • @xxx where are you anyway?.
    by AustralianCannonball 6/4/2011 10:37:02 AM

  • Poland, safe here ;)
    by xxx 6/4/2011 10:37:41 AM

  • @xxx Than I'm probably safer in the southern hemisphere. I spent 3 months in Poland. October 1997 to January 1998. Been all around. primarily in Wroclaw.

  • Do you also see this light(?) in nr. 4 on tbs cam?
    by Mina 6/4/2011 10:46:32 AM

  • @Mina The light seems to be one that shows regularly in certain lights about sunset, it apparently shines through the hole left by one of the missing panels and shows on one of the few intact walls.
    by Mart 6/4/2011 10:50:48 AM

  • @xxx are you still there ? I have a question: Is't the fact that unit 1 is at atmospherical pressure a good news? I mean that there is no additional pressure there.
    by DT 6/4/2011 10:58:00 AM

  • @dt I think xxx is still around I wish I was more techi but it goes over my head
    by elainekirk 6/4/2011 11:07:01 AM

  • @elainekirk Thank you. I am so non-techi, so I don't know what @xxx was saying with that. And I would also like to ask him where does he know about the water level and tne pressure in Unit 1.
    by DT 6/4/2011 11:10:21 AM

  • @DT I don't consider it a big deal, but it does show another data point that has been in error for 3 months. The main News I see here is the accelerated loss of water level from the RPV. It appears to indicate a new and possibly larger penetration of the vessel at a significantly lower point than previous. This could accelerate existing corium loss.
    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 11:10:57 AM

  • @DT Warning, IO just turned on and have done a quick review, not thourough:)
    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 11:12:24 AM

  • @RBeaner What do you mean?
    by DT 6/4/2011 11:12:48 AM

  • @RBeaner, I understood you. Thanks. I just hope that everything is going to be allright and I will finally be able to go to sleep like a normal guy from the beginnig of the crysis.
    by DT 6/4/2011 11:14:16 AM

  • @DT I don't consider atmospherical pressure a big deal, but it does show another data point that has been in error for 3 months.
    by RBeaner 6/4/2011 11:14:30 AM

  • @all goodbye for now I have to go the university for an exam.
    good luck with the exam
