- I could tell from his answer that he wasn't prepared for the details of those explosions.. he said.. the explosions were caused by hydrogen and I said.. so that means the hydrogen for #4 was produced by the spent fuel pool?by dean 9/29/2011 11:54:21 PM
- I mentioned that the #4 reactor had no fuel.. he paused.. and said. well, they did show video's of the SFP in 4 and it looked like the fuel was ok... after the meeting I talked to him and he said.. you threw me a curve on that one.. I said.. well.. when you go to Japan tomorrow perhaps you will be able to dig deeper and find out how it happened... - @ Edano heis a japanese Phd Professor from university of idaho in nuclear engineering and mechanical engineering, he was born in Japan but came to the US with his parents.
