  • hello to all.. good evening, noon, afternoon, early evening, nite time.. to all
    by dean 4/10/2011 8:52:31 PM

  • @John I have a serious question please.....I am merly wondering, from your Blueprints..going by what you say about core being off center...where is the heat reflection from the core??..if that is the SFP, .shouldn't we be able to see the active rods signature ??
by Veen Oui 4/10/2011 8:52:49 PM

  • @dean hiya.
by marie rich 4/10/2011 8:53:07 PM

  • @dean you ageree about core location ?: img28.imageshack.us

    by John via Img28.imageshack.us 4/10/2011 8:55:14 PM

  • @dean and also my previous photo few posts down
    by John 4/10/2011 8:55:53 PM

  • John.. is this #3.. and the top of the reactor vessel and concrete containment is still on?
    by dean 4/10/2011 8:57:43 PM

  • @dean thermal image is from unit 3
    by John 4/10/2011 8:58:49 PM

  • other image few posts down is from reactor 4
    by John 4/10/2011 8:59:16 PM

  • from thermal image of unit 3 we can see some steam/hot leaks
    by John 4/10/2011 8:59:47 PM

  • @John John you do realize that the blueprint drawing is of number one.. 2-6 are of different designs.
by NHK Listener 4/10/2011 9:00:37 PM

  • marie.. you are too much... "blind in one eye and can't see out the other" ha ha ha.. stop it.. I will fall off my chair..
    by dean 4/10/2011 9:01:52 PM

  • @dean yeehaw!! my daddy used to say that.
by marie rich 4/10/2011 9:03:04 PM

  • Well, the image seems fairly consistent.. The hotspot on the left is clearly the SFP (you can see the water in the me shape on the non-heat map images) and reactor well is meant to be next to the SFP
    by Sims 4/10/2011 9:03:26 PM

  • @NHK Listener I dont think so... core is not in centeer it is closer to turbine building, you can clearly see this from thermal images if you dont believe
    by John 4/10/2011 9:05:02 PM

  • marie.. once I had a mechanic who was working for me on the reactor.. he had one side always dirty on his glasses.. I said. .hey your glasses are dirty.. he took them off and looked and said. OH I never clean that side because I have a glass eye.. DUH
    by dean 4/10/2011 9:06:51 PM

  • @NHK Listener this is incorrect
    by John 4/10/2011 9:11:05 PM

  • @dean I was on a date with a gorgeous guy at a fancy restaurant, when his glass eye fell out, rolled across the table and fell on the floor. the waiter picked it up with a napkin.
by marie rich 4/10/2011 9:11:25 PM

  • @dean core location ? Look on my thermal image
    by John 4/10/2011 9:11:35 PM

  • @NHK Listener this is wrong central axis of SFP must be in one line with center of the core...
    by John 4/10/2011 9:12:46 PM

  • @marie rich I sent you an editor link to that update grid, updated through April 7. Assumedly the NYT will update on the 10th, but now that I've done the import and fix, I can't directly import it any more. We can update it ourselves. Here's the link again:

Info from all NYT status updates gridded by date and reactor.

If anyone else wants editor status to help keep it up/flesh it out, let me know.

  • @radioguy got it and willco. I'll post what I find, with annotaded links(?)
by marie rich 4/10/2011 9:14:33 PM

  • @John I am a novice so am only making a suggestion but if they are constantly spraying the hottest parts of the buildings is that going to skew the resulting image?
    by elainekirk 4/10/2011 9:15:15 PM

  • by John 4/10/2011 9:15:17 PM

  • *annotated* i can spell, just can't type

  • lol marie.. he shouldn't have been staring at you so dang hard.. .what did you do?
    by dean 4/10/2011 9:17:03 PM

  • @John Your argument has a very long way to go to prove what you are saying.. This has been discussed before.. The physics forum link does not prove what you are saying either..
by NHK Listener 4/10/2011 9:17:23 PM

  • didn't we have one photo of #3 reactor where they were pointing to the top head? wasn't it suggested to be off?
    by dean 4/10/2011 9:17:40 PM

  • I looked over his head at anoter table and he went to the men's room to re-insert it. And, gosh, he never asked me out again!
by marie rich 4/10/2011 9:18:14 PM

  • @marie rich Now that we have the basic grid imported, it's whatever we want to add. Links would be good. Too much text and it gets harder to read the whole, but being able to click on a row or column and be able to follow reactor or date beginning is really helpful.
    by radioguy 4/10/2011 9:18:36 PM

  • the Center line for the reactor core theory does need to be confirmed more than the infrared.. that infrared to me seems like the SFP AND a couple of other spots
    by dean 4/10/2011 9:18:48 PM

  • @radioguy okey doke
by marie rich 4/10/2011 9:19:09 PM

  • marie.. did he choke on his meal?
