my understanding is that the longer you are exposed, the more harmful it is...because the body (cells) will repair themselves...and can do this more easily from a one time exposure. Smaller continuous doses are more dangerous because the cells (DNA) cannot repair themselves as easily, and eventually the copies of the copies of the copies in the cell replication process lose the correct information, and that cause the cell replication to malfunction ie: cancer or genetic disorders.

@Sin You are speaking of the linear model , the no amount is safe doctrine. I agree with that,and any study always finds the amounts that add to cancer risks are just below the amount they are looking at.

It just says "Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Reactor 1", then the name of the diagram, then the diagram serial number, then TEPCO at the bottom, and on the right it says those dates with "revision" written underneath.

@Alblee can you pin barrdens numbers up until nancy and some working on the drawings show up can't read the houses.... but the dates that barrrden posted shoud be dates that reservationns were made to that drawing....they don't show what change, but looks like they made changes as soon aga as 2000

That is what is written there on the left side of the Title Box area. I wrote the dates, and the western style dates next to it.

@Ralph Unger Well it seems like common sense to me. That's why the harmful effects can only be measured on an individual basis, because different cells replicate at different rates, so making faster copies means more of a chance for a mistake (which is why the thyroid in children is at risk) so it depends on where you get it as much as how much...unless it is a lethal dose.
