all I am saying is what I see the first graph looks good but look in detail at next two.. the scales are different and not lined up.. it's like the cut the one chart and then put that one together with another one.. that's got my flag up

@Veenie. I know what you mean about the gov't, and it's good if it makes MSM. I don't know if people will pay attention. But, what I meant was, this doesn't really provide us with much more idea of what will happen next - because we've been thinking this was true all along.

@Maureen Burke I am not that familiar with the subcontractor relationship in Japan , but I stand by that anyone that had worked at the plant for a year or two, are invested in the plant and the surrounding community. Do you think everyone in there are migrant worker?

@Dean Hi! Question for you..I saw an article on NHK this morning contradicting their earlier statements about the corium in 1 being covered by water and therefore cool. Now they say it is producing steam and is sitting above water level. What if any danger is there of explosion? Just wondering.. www3.nhk.or.jp

This has happened multiple times now, the TBS feed on YouTube has started itself. I leave a tab open so I don't lose it and just pause the playback. Then reload the page when I need to view it again. It has taken to starting itself up again randomly. I think it is stalking me. :-)

Dean, the second page here www.tepco.co.jp is a guide to the different data sets they should be providing. Per the English press release, they are presently working on an English release of the data.

Rbeaner I think basically the reactor operators are techincally trained along with some of the crafts who work on instrumentation etc... the laborers are probably not knowledgable much at all... I watched a video of them moving a 50 gallon barrel of waste and it was a real circus.. men running around holding meters.. others running in pushing then leaving and running back.. then more workers tugging and pushing the 50 gallon barrel.. I don't know why the wouldn't have had a 50 barrell mover of some kind.. it was really wild..

I was referring to the TEPCO story that there may be rods still there, above water level, sticking up after all this time. They are positing that as a heat source. I don't buy it, but it'll do until their next press conference.

@MarkFM The photo that goes with NHk article shows a blob at the bottom of the vessel sticking out above water line. I don't buy there are intact rods either. I just wondered what happens to the Corium when it's not being cooled.

@Lethbridgean The fuel rods are inside the RPV and that is not in contact with open air, I mean, it is not open to the atmosphere. Anyway, if there has been a full meltdown as TEPCO has been guessing, there aren't any rods left. But the molten fuel is not exposed to open air, I only wanted to clarify that. This is the news and facts page, after all.

@Nancy "It has taken to starting itself up again randomly." It sounds like it may be autostarting as it overflows it's memory buffer. Allocating a larger cache to the browser might stave it off...?
